Wael Al Sarraj, PhD

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the IUG (University of Gaza) in Palestine 2000, a Master degree in Electronic-Business from the UniSalento (University of Salento) in Italy 2002 and a PhD degree in Computer Science from the VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) in Belgium 2012. My main research interests are in Web Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction, in particular the engineering of Web information systems and applications that involve Web and Web technology, and End-User Modelling, Web Usability evaluation, Adaptation and Personalisation. Testing Analysis of Web application and information systems /softwares is one of my main strong technical competences. Previously, I studied Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science and Electronic-Business Management, got my Ph.D. with a thesis on Development of a Usability Evaluation Framework for Web Mashup Makers for End-Users, had several technical, software development, academic, training, research, managerial and consultancy jobs with academic institutions, industry, consultancy firms and international organizations in several countries (e.g. VUB, Tematea, Ophtacare, TC-Location and NFTE in Belgium, IUG, Jawwal, UNRWA and QOU in Palestine,UniLe and Safarital in Italy, IUCN in Switzerland and CEEweb in Hungary).

Currently working as a lecturer of Computer science courses and as a Freelance IT consultant in Belgium.
